ACA Awards

ACA HALL OF FAME

The ACA has established a Hall of Fame to honor those cuemakers who have distinguished themselves by advancing the art of cuemaking either by innovations in the cuemaking process or by producing an outstanding quality cue over the years (or both). The following cuemakers are currently members of the Hall of Fame. We will be adding further information on each cuemaker in the near future.

DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD - In JULY, 1992, Leonard Bludworth was presented a plaque. The plaque said:"In recognition of his efforts in organizing and founding the American Cuemaker Association. His contributions will long be remembered and appreciated.

LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD - In July, 1994, Gordon Hart of Viking Cue Mfg., Inc. was awarded the ACA’s Lifetime Achievement Award “For continually providing the public with a quality product that lives up to the ideals of The American Cuemaker’s Association, for his pioneering efforts in the custom cue industry, and for establishing the industry standard of excellence for both quality and value.”

APPRECIATION AWARD - In March, 1995, Don Daly of Daly Designs and Tom’s Q-Stix was presented a plaque. The plaque said “Awarded to Don Daly In Sincere Appreciation for Your Dedicated and Professional Work in producing the Hand of the Masters Calendar. Your extraordinary efforts have produced a top quality calendar that is a MUST for any serious billiards enthusiast. Awarded this 19th Day of March, 1995 by The American Cuemaker’s Association”

APPRECIATION AWARD - In March, 1995, Victor Stein was presented a plaque. The plaque said: “Awarded to Victor Stein In Sincere Appreciation for Your Dedicated and Professional Work in producing the Billiard Encyclopedia. Your extraordinary efforts have produced a top quality book that is a MUST for any serious billiards enthusiast.”

APPRECIATION AWARD - In March, 1995, Paul Rubino was presented a plaque. The plaque said: “Awarded to Paul Rubino In Sincere Appreciation for Your Dedicated and Professional Work in producing the Billiard ENCYCLOPEDIA. Your extraordinary efforts have produced a top quality book that is a MUST for any serious billiards enthusiast.”

APPRECIATION AWARD - In March, 1997, Brad Simpson was presented a plaque. The plaque said: “Awarded to Brad Simpson In Sincere Appreciation for Your Dedicated and Professional Work in producing the Blue Book of Pool Cues. Your extraordinary efforts have produced a top quality book that is a MUST for any serious billiards enthusiast.”
